JIS (Just in Sequence) takes JIT (Just in Time) a step further, delivering sequenced parts in the build sequence order that corresponds to the production schedule. Sequencing is a particular form of stationary kit where only one part reference is carried per kit.
Sequence To Light optimizes and speeds up this sequenced parts selection. For this, there are different flexible technological solutions adapted to lean principles.
In a Tour sequencing, the sequencing carts are filled by completing the tour of the supermarket, guided by p2l equipped on the shelves and / or in the cart itself.
Whereas, in Stationary sequencing (G2P) parts are moved to the operator by means of AGVs. Operator picks what is needed and fulfil dollies by means of projected instructions (PPS or Projection Picking Systems). It allows for an increase in efficiency and accuracy of the process
